COURSE INTRODUCTION

When there is a possibility your staff will need to handle chemicals there are possibility of harmful situation may happen. Exposure to toxic agents can have severe consequences, including death. These injuries can occur in any area where hazardous chemicals are handledMost chemical injuries could have been avoidedIf these people had had the proper equipment, if they had been using the proper techniquesand if they had had adequate knowledge, such as exposures probably would not have occurred.

Chapter 4: Chemical storage management

  • Chemical storage requirements
  • Long term and short term storage

  • PPE and PPC requirements  

Chapter 5: Transferring chemical
