OHSAS 18001 AWARENESS TRAINING
COURSE OBJECTIVE

This one day training is about managing occupational health and safety performance, a dimension of business commitment in its broadest sense. Safety and health has become a major issue for today’s businesses and organizations of all types. Taking action to control and minimize accident and prevent harm to employees, contractors and visitors become a must through effective Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

It introduces the basic principles of OH&S management and provides knowledge on the way in which OH&S performance can be controlled and continuously improved within the framework of the OH&S 18000 Management System Model.

Upon completion of the training, participants are able to :

  • Understand the overall concept of OHSAS 18001.
  • Understand the requirements of OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • Establish and implement of the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

Maintain and evaluate the effectiveness the OH&S Management System performance.

  • Role of relevant Personnel and strategy for implmentation

This course is designed for those who are tasked with the development of a business strategy towards occupational health and safety (OH&S) management or the implementation of a system and improvement processes for OH&S management. They may include Directors/ Managers, Safety & Health Officer/ Coordinators, Engineers, Technical Specialists, Works / Maintenance Managers, Human Resources/ Personal Affairs Officer.
