ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

UNDERSTANDING and DOCUMENTING an ISO 14001


OBJECTIVE

This two-day training is about managing environmental performance as a dimension of the business commitment to environment in its broadest sense.

It introduces the basic principles of Environmental Management and the way in which environmental performance can be controlled and continuously improved within the framework of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Model.

COURSE CONTENT & TIMETABLE

This training combines presentation and lectures with structured exercises, resulting in a highly participative programme with the majority of time spent in practical activities.

COURSE TUTORS

All Neville-Clarke trainers are full time employees and experienced environmental management professionals. All are practising environmental management consultants, chosen for their proven ability to communicate and understand the problems that you face in industry and commerce each day. All trainers have extensive industrial experience in their field of expertise, and you will find that they understand the problems of your industry and the ways in which they can be solved.

    WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Those who are tasked with the development of a business strategy towards environmental management or the implementation of a system and improvement processes for environmental management. This may include Business Managers / Directors, Consultants, Lawyers, Purchasing Managers, Quality Managers / Directors, Environmental Engineers, Technical Specialists, Works / Maintenance Managers.

    COURSE DURATION

This is a two days introductory course running from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
